Basically? I love telling stories.
For me, it all starts (and ends) with creative writing — which, at its core, is play (can you tell I’m also a theatre kid?). Stories allow us to get to know a person, an idea, even a business … and the best stories, to me, make us laugh // let us pretend, even as they invite us to wonder and think.
Because let’s be real … life is contrast. What’s more relatable than being both serious and seriously joyful?

Making yourself vulnerable — it isn’t easy. How do you put all the complexity of who you are, the life you’ve lived, the circumstances that brought you to want to tell your story down in just *so* many words?
I get it. I’m literally right there, right now.
I know I have people in mine. I run an awesome fantasy stationery business with an incredible artist and friend, I write web copy, email and social media campaigns for an amazing eCommerce platform that works with nationally recognized brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley and ban.do … and my husband took all these photos. Are they not friggin’ cool?
